Auntie me!

We just returned from our family vacation to St George Island. We had a wonderfully restful time. My favorite part of the trip was meeting my new nieces and my nephew from Russia. I didn't really expect any emotional feelings upon meeting them, but almost instantly I was choked up. It was touching to see my brother in the role of father. They are shaping into excellent parents and I am very proud of both he and Kim.

We are selling shirts as a fund raiser. They are organic cotton, brown, 12 dollars. We ar out of XL. Beniam is sporting one. Every life does count. I am abundantly be blessed to call him my son.

Beach birthday

Our baby turned 5. We decided to wait a few days to have her party on vacation. She picked out the party dress and wanted a little dolled up. The expression when we sang to her was priceless.

The sweetest prayer

Personally, we have been having some struggles. Today I was tearful and Mercy came to me (remember we brought her home November 21st, she is almost 5 years old.) She pulled up a stool in front of me, sat down on it, took my hands in her two small hands and said: "Mommy when you are sad, I pray for you, I talk to Jesus Mommy." Then she prayed "God, thank you for God. Thank you for Mommy. Help Mommy be happy and have no owies." Then she gave me a big hug and "teleko kisses". (Big kisses.)
